My defense lawyer e-mailed the prosecutor for a charge sheet against me. He explained to her that "I can''t wait to get through with him. Between you and me he has been a thorn in my side" Since his advice my situation has only gotten worse. Is there anything I can do.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

You can ask the convening authority (the commanding offier who appointed the court-martial) to give oyu a new lawyer. Also, as a member of the military the UCMJ gives you the right to ask for a particular lawyer of your own choosing and if that lawyer is "reasonably available" the militray must give that lawyer to you. So, talk around and see who other people says is a good lawyer and then request that person as your lawyer. You will get a new lawyer!

All the best,

You are correct. I apologize.I have been frustrated. They brought up a prior incident that was handled administratively and my lawyer never informed me of this. He did not want me to go to article 15 because he stated my commander had no love. So now they are trying to see if there is a pattern. I have been in for 15 yrs. I am a SSG in the U.S. So now my future is at risk. WEll, I ask that you only bill my Credit card and please do not post or send this response to anything or anyone. Thanks
