I am a Us servicemember stationed in Japan. I am divorcing my Thai wife. She has had live in custody of my US Citizen son here in military family housing. I have PCS orders to South Carolina within the next month. We each have equal parental rights until the divorce proceeding in November. I want my son to live with me in South Carolina. Who can I receive help form?

Thank you for getting back to me. My wife is a Thai citizen. Our divorce date is set for november 8 in Bangkok. My wife has a permanent resident visa for CONUS. I am at my wit's end here. The Thai Courts will not issue a temporary custody order until the divorce proceeding. My son has to live with one of us; where dose it say in the military that is the absence of a custody order the children default to the mother?

I have Thai attorneys (two). The problem seems to be that the Thai government does not consider it an emergency to grant custody. Bottom line is that my son has to live with one of us. Thanks for the help so far. I am going to click accept so that you can get your money. I returned from Thailand last night and yet again I have no custody agreement.
